SOUND

A space for sound. A geometrical landscape. It holds
certain similarities with the LIQUID SKY Project. It’s a ramp with
two inclined and accessible pyramidal elements that act as speakers. The
music specially created for this project is generated inside the pyramids.
There are two independent sound strings, each one is reproduced in its
pyramid and they both finally melt into each other. There’s a line
of broken light embedded in the ramp showing a trajectory and illuminating
the installation at the same time. It is a full transitable installation.
The new sloped floor is an ascendant “tongue” of light and
sound.
Un espacio para el sonido. Un paisaje geométrico
. Tiene cierta semejanza con el proyecto LIQUID SKY. Es una rampa con
dos elementos piramidales inclinados y habitables que funcionan como amplificadores
de sonido. La música creada específicamente para esta pieza
se genera dentro de las pirámides. Son dos pistas independientes,
cada una se reproduce en su correspondiente pirámide para luego
fundirse. Empotrada en la rampa hay una línea de luz quebrada que
marca un recorrido y es, al mismo tiempo, la iluminación de la
obra . Toda la instalación es transitable. El nuevo suelo en pendiente
es una “lengua” ascendente de luz y sonido.
